Anyone here catch that rumor recirculating about Naruto/Masashi Kishimoto? I honestly can’t confirm how real this is… but it’s starting to get quite a bit of attention on various sites (youtube, deviantart, mangafox, fanpop, I haven’t checked, but I’m sure myanimelist has been questioning it too… even here on tumblr). Basically, people are saying that in an interview he stated that if he saw enough support for the pairing, he would end the series with it (apparently he sees/likes it as well). Back in 2009, he “allegedly indicated his love of shounen-ai and that NaruSasu was his favorite pairing. He even collects Doujinshi and fanfics.” Anyway, even if it can’t be confirmed at the moment whether or not this has a possibility of happening, it couldn’t hurt to sign if you actually support this pairing.
It’s hard to tell how much potential this has, but for anyone questioning the validity… it’s actually one of the most predictable outcomes as far as romance goes. Non-supporters will even agree with this. The amount of shounen-ai undertones present throughout the series and movies are too noticeable to ignore. It’s a workable outcome. And could still happen this far along story-wise.But yeah.
